Motion Set makes it possible to detect human presence. It communicates wirelessly and operates up to 2 years from the standard Alkaline batteries. Using the digital, low-power, passive infrared technology (PIR), you will be able to build your own alarm or turn on the lighting automatically.
Industrial IoT Kit
HARDWARIO TOWER is an industrial kit that makes it easy to build IoT projects. It is particularly suitable for Industry 4.0 pilots, active STEM education and smart home projects. The assembled sensors, detectors and actuators have low power consumption and can run on batteries for several years.
With Motion Set, you can detect movement around the installed equipment. It detects using digital, passive infrared (PIR) technology. The Motion Set includes:

The set does not include the Radio Dongle, which you need to communicate with the computer. If you don't have it yet, be sure to buy it.
The basic function of this set is motion detection. For example, you can use it to create your own alarm or automatically trigger the lighting in the room when motion is detected.
Since it also includes a Core Module that is equipped with a 3-axis accelerometer and digital thermometer, there are a variety of other projects you can do with the kit. You can find the basic projects on the web, and more at hackster.io.
The kit includes the HARDWARIO Playground app, which can be downloaded for Window, MacOS and Linux computers. With the application, you connect the assembled devices to the created radio network, set the purpose of each device according to the selected firmware and add the required functions using the Node-RED application.
The entire kit is open-source and supports integrations with popular platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Ubidots, Blynk, IFTTT, Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Apple HomeKit.
